We’re here to help you get the most out of Alarmu.
Go to the Alarms tab, tap the + button, pick your time, choose a mission type, set your difficulty level, and save. When the alarm fires, a 3-2-1 countdown starts automatically and then launches your mission.
Missions are short mini-games you must complete to dismiss your alarm. There are 5 types: Drum Pad, Piano Keys, Word Puzzle, Blow Candles, and Tilt Maze. Each one is designed to engage your brain enough to wake you up fully.
There is no snooze button and no way to dismiss the alarm. The only way to stop Alarmu is to complete the mission. If you don’t want the alarm anymore, uninstall the app. Alarmu sends persistent burst notifications every 10 seconds until the mission is completed.
The alarm keeps going. Burst notifications fire every 10 seconds and keep coming back. If you turn off the screen or leave the app during a mission, Alarmu detects it, re-schedules burst notifications, and resets your mission when you return. There’s also a 15-second AFK timer — if you start a mission and don’t interact, it counts as a fail and the alarm restarts.
Yes! When creating an alarm, you pick a difficulty level of 5, 6, or 7. What this means depends on the mission: 5/6/7-letter words for Word Puzzle, 5/6/7-tap patterns for Drum Pad and Piano Keys, 1/2/3 seconds of blowing per candle for Blow Candles, and 5×5 / 7×7 / 9×9 grids for Tilt Maze. The difficulty stays fixed — it won’t change on you.
Alarmu is fully functional for the first 15 days — all missions, analytics, and features included. After the trial, a one-time purchase unlocks lifetime access. No subscriptions, no recurring charges. All future missions and updates are included.
Go to Settings → Restore Purchase. This will check your Apple Account for an existing purchase and unlock Premium automatically. You can also restore from the Premium screen.
Yes! Tap the gamepad icon in the Alarms tab to open the Mission Playground. You can play any of the 5 missions at any difficulty without creating an alarm.
Alarmu uses Time Sensitive notifications, which break through most Focus modes by default. However, users can disable this per Focus mode. For guaranteed delivery, go to Settings → Focus → [your mode] → Apps and add Alarmu to the allowed list.
Reach out to us and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
